HOW THE BATTLE WORKS
Math Battle 2027 will include four preliminary competitions followed by the championship. Participating schools are placed into preliminary competitions through a lottery/seeding process.
Preliminary Rounds
Teams compete within their grade level.

The Top 3 teams from each preliminary competition advance.

Championship Day
Those teams meet again at the Math Battle Championship on June 5, 2027 to compete for the title.
Students can expect challenging mathematics, teamwork, high energy, cheering families, awards, and plenty of Math Battle spirit.
